June & July
School's out for the summer—woo-hoo! June is the month when most high schools finish up the academic year and shutter their doors until August (except for those that offer summer school, of course). So finish the year on a positive note (that means studying!) and pat yourself on the back—once school lets out, you can call yourself a high school sophomore.
To Do
- Get a job for the summer. You don't want to spend all your days by the pool.
- Stay busy. College may seem like a long way off, but what you do now can help your chances of admission later.
