JOHN S. KATZMAN
Executive Chairman
John founded The Princeton Review shortly after graduating from Princeton University in 1981. Under his stewardship, the company has grown into one of the strongest brands in education. John is the co-author of Class Action (Random House, 1995), which formed the theoretical basis the company's Web-based tool that helps students prepare for the state tests. He served as president of The Princeton Review from 1981 until August 2000 and as Chief Executive Officer from August 2000 until July 2007.

 
MICHAEL J. PERIK
President and Chief Executive Officer
Michael comes to The Princeton Review with an impressive portfolio in education. He was the co-founder and CEO of The Learning Company, an international leader in educational software. Michael also founded Achievement Technologies, Inc., an online remedial education company that specialized in the K-12 space. When the Company was sold to Houghton Mifflin, Michael joined as The Chairman of Houghton's Assessment Division. He left Houghton Mifflin in 2007 to join The Princeton Review.

 
STEPHEN RICHARDS
Chief Operating Officer/Chief Financial Officer
Prior to joining the Princeton Review team, Steve served as EVP, COO, and CFO at Houghton Mifflin. Previous stints as Senior Vice President/CFO at Harcourt Education and as a partner at Deloitte spotlight his broad background in both education and finance. His skill set ideally suits him for his dual roles at The Princeton Review.

 
JOHN MARSHALL
President, Test Preparation Services
John brings extensive experience to The Princeton Review. He previously served as Executive Vice President of Marketing Strategy and Enablement at Digitas, Inc., a premier global marketing services organization. He also served as a principal at Mercer Management Consulting, where his expertise in marketing, internet commerce, business strategy, and shareholder value creation helped drive clients’ growth.

 
KEVIN HOWELL
EVP and General Manager, K-12 Services
Kevin joined The Princeton Review in Oct. 2005 as General Manager of the K-12 Services division. He brings over 20 years of experience in technology, having previously served as the interim CEO for the National Education Association's (NEA) Portal Company, a subsidiary providing online training for K-12 educators. Prior to the NEA, he worked for McGraw Hill, rising to the position of Senior Vice President, Technology and New Media. Kevin graduated Vassar College.

 
TONY BORDON
President, Supplemental Educational Services Division
Before joining The Princeton Review in September 2007, Tony served as President of Knowledge Adventure. Earlier, he was COO of Riverdeep, and held several positions with The Learning Company, including President of the International Division and Senior Vice President of Sales. He is a graduate of St. Thomas Acquinas College and Harvard Business School’s Executive Management Program.

 
NEAL S. WINNEG
EVP, Secretary and General Counsel
Neal served as Sr. Vice President, Secretary, and General Counsel of Upromise, Inc.—a company that helps families plan, save, and pay for college—from its formation in early 2000 through 2007. Neal began his career with the law firm of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, where he concentrated on corporate and securities law, mergers and acquisitions, and venture and other financing. He later served as Sr. Vice President, Secretary, and General Counsel of The Learning Company, Inc. Neal received a BA from Yale University and a JD from Boston University School of Law.
