Course Overview
The Georgia WebMBA curriculum consists of 10 courses. No electives are required. Associates complete two online courses each term for five consecutive terms. Specific academic standards are published in affiliate schools' graduate catalogs or online handbooks. Up to six credit hours of graduate transfer credit can be considered, provided that courses were taken at a school accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business and that courses match our curriculum.

Courses include: Human Behavior in Organizations, Managerial Accounting, Global and International Business, Strategic Marketing, Managerial Finance, Management Information Systems, Operations Management, Business Strategic Management, and more. To begin the Web MBA in Spring 2014, associates must successfully complete the orientation, held Jan 10 & 11, 2014 in Atlanta.

How Courses are Taught:
Students enrolled in the program will use our online courses for all work, including team functions, exams, discussion posts, cases, and simulations. Students also have access to academic resources, such as an online library and databases. Web-ware for conference calls and document sharing is also available. Courses are asynchronous. No face-to-face or class online meetings are required. Because we rely on Learning Teams, student teams typically decide when members will meet in real-time.

Grades are based on reports, exams, assigned case studies and simulations, and participation in course and team activities.

You may work anytime, anywhere you have access to the online courses. Our semester courses begin and end on specific dates, work is due as assigned, and Learning Teams determine other activity and work deadlines. There typically are no required synchronous class sessions.

The time needed for these online courses usually equals that needed for on-campus MBA program courses. No travel time is required, however. Students report spending about seven to eight hours per week per course. The length of the program semester will vary from 12 to 14 weeks - with an 11-week summer session.
