HEC Montréal is an internationally recognized business school that offers two program options: a renowned one-year full-time program in English or French, or a two-year part-time evening program in French only (though students may take some electives in English in order to improve their language capacity). Many permanent residents take advantage of the intense, cost-effective full-time program to get the "best bang for the buck" and then re-enter the work force with a HEC Montréal degree under their belts and a network of alumni to tap into. This being an "extremely strenuous" one-year intensive program, "life is hectic." The school makes "excellent use of available slots to schedule seminars, meetings and workshops." The administration is "very available, well-run and supportive of student life." They are very clearly "there to make things easier for us," according to a student. Professors are similarly outstanding; faculty members are "almost 100 percent PhDs, with solid work experience" to boot, and are "very accessible and have a lot of business experience."
