Description: The purpose of this course is to prepare students to participate in and lead financially successful, socially responsible and environmentally sustainable enterprises. It seeks to develop students’ capacity to understand and appreciate social and environmental challenges confronting managers in today’s businesses. The goal will be to help students gain knowledge and skills to integrate social and environmental sustainability with commercial and economic success. The course will also touch upon global issues related to sustainable management, addressing deployment of sustainable practices in corporations internationally. Students will be introduced to complexities of a practicing sustainable business in a globalizing world.
