Description: UNC Kenan-Flagler provides an MBA concentration in sustainable enterprise composed of 20 electives. This concentration applies across functions and industries and complements other career concentrations taken at the same time. Students taking it learn how to craft strategies that help companies pursue a triple bottom line. Over 30% of the class of 2012 obtained the concentration in Sustainable Enterprise. Description: MBA students work with faculty to author original teaching cases on sustainability topics. School's environmental commitment:  
1: Former Dean Jim Dean set an ambitious goal for UNC Kenan-Flagler to be paperless by 2015. The Executive MBA and Daytime MBA programs now offer electronic course pack options. The Undergraduate Business program is running a pilot program offering electronic course packs. Faculty are allowing tablet-type devices in the classroom and new technology is being installed to reduce and eliminate the need for paper across the business school.
2: The UNC Kenan-Flagler Greening Committee, a committee of the MBA Net Impact Club, makes sustainability research and thinking actionable on campus and is committed to driving a change in thinking among UNC Kenan-Flagler stakeholders about the environmental impact of our school's actions. The school serves as a learning laboratory to achieve measurable improvements in sustainability.
3: For the last 8 years, UNC Kenan-Flager has hosted the Sustainable Venture Capital Investment Competition, which brings together student teams from business schools around the world to participate in a competition that studies how ventures can maximize their environmental, social and financial bottom lines.
