Language Center: Offering wide range of language courses including Mandarin training program for non-Chinese speaking full-time MBA students. The language commons provide students with audio-visual and computer equipment, reference books, tests practice, games and movie transcripts to aid their self-learning of different languages. Students can also speak with a language adviser to discuss ways to improve speaking and writing abilities. Student Amenities: Student lounge, banks, supermarket, bookstore, hair salon, health center with medical and dental clinics, 11 Asian and Western catering outlets, BBQ stoves, music rooms, exercise room, Arts center, meeting rooms. Sports & Recreational Facilities: - 2 swimming pools including a 50-meter outdoor pool & a 25-meter indoor pool - Tennis courts - 8-meter climbing wall - 400-meter athletic track - Soccer pitch - Facilities for badminton, squash, table-tennis, basketball, handball, fencing, indoor archery, martial arts - Weight training and fitness center Accommodation: On-campus housing Single-occupancy room of ~ 100sq.ft with shared facilities costs HK$3,800/month (tentative). All rooms are air-conditioned with broadband access. Family Accommodation Students looking for family accommodation or cooking facilities could opt for apartments near the campus (e.g. Hang Hau, Po Lam, Sai Kung) through property agents referred by previous students.

Description:The Women Leadership Club provides a support network that empowers and enriches the women of HKUST in their pursuit of leadership. Its goals are to provide opportunities for continual networking within and outside of the HKUST community, create supplemental education and development opportunities, foster meaningful partnerships with outside organizations, and cultivate fulfilling and rewarding lifestyles. It prepares its members to address challenges in the workplace, help improve female enrollment in business programs, and promote the HKUST brand along the way.
