|Special programs offered to recruit underrepresented students or students with disadvantaged backgrounds:||Carlson's Director of Multicultural Affairs and Diversity Education (MADE) leads outreach programs to bring qualified minority candidates to our program. MADE collaborates with the following MBA affinity organizations: National Association of Women MBAs,(NAWMBA), National Black MBA Association (NBMBAA), National Society of Hispanic MBAs, (NSHMBA), Asian MBA (AMBA), Reaching OUT MBA.
The school is also a partner with Management Leadership for Tomorrow (MLT) and a consortium member of Forte. MLT is a national non-profit that has made ground-breaking progress developing the next generation of African American, Hispanic and Native American leaders in major organizations. Forte is a consortium of major corporations and top business schools that seeks to educate and and prepare talented women toward leadership roles in business.
Further, MADE works in the community on P-16 Initiatives including the GopherBusiness program. A program for high ability diverse high school students who wish to explore a collegiate future in business GopherBusiness strives to reach out to students who may have encountered barriers to educational resources and opportunities.|
