Special programs offered to recruit underrepresented students or students with disadvantaged backgrounds:Through the Wachovia Scholars Program, the Wake Forest University full-time MBA program offers scholarships to students from underrepresented minority groups. These scholarships include a full-tuition waiver, stipend and an international summer study trip. The Latin American Scholars program offers a full-tuition merit-based award for Hispanic students. Additionally, Wake Forest has partnered with Management Leadership for Tomorrow (MLT), an organization that helps to prepare underrepresented minorities for graduate management education and post-MBA business careers. Wake Forest is also a member of the Forté Foundation, a consortium of major corporations and top business schools that has become a powerful change agent in educating and directing talented women toward leadership roles in business, and funds scholarships for women through the Forté Fellows program. Graduate Business Admissions sponsors multiple outreach events in an effort to reach out to undergraduate women at Wake Forest.
