LSB attracts a "truly international student and faculty body. More than 80 percent of students comes from outside U.K., giving an indescribable wealth of experience and network." Explains one MBA, "You will never be ‘one of the foreign students' at LBS, since there is no dominating nationality. The students are amazingly diverse." Students learn about each others' cultures through the regional clubs, "such as the Indian and Asian clubs, which are very active and host a variety of activities and parties that introduce their country's culture to the student body. In fact, there are so many themed parties that it is sometimes hard to tear yourself away from school and remember that there is an amazing city to explore outside of the school neighborhood." Other clubs "run lectures or other events in the evening, which are good both for learning and networking." Students also have "a plethora of sports options, with men and women's rugby and football being the most popular. Everyone is involved in a club or sport."

Going to school in central London "provides the school access to business leaders from around the globe and direct access to companies," students tell us. One student observed that "London Business School's location limits the school's expanding capabilities—there's really nowhere to expand to in London—but overall the campus is great. It is much smaller than American b-schools, but I'd rather be in a smaller campus in London than in larger one outside the city." "The nightlife and culture are also great" in London; as one student told us, "It is hard to imagine a better social scene at your fingertips at any other school in the world. The only issue is that there may be too many distractions." The chief drawback: "Life in central London can be quite expensive (probably more expensive than Manhattan, even)."
