Felician College is a liberal arts, coeducational, Catholic Franciscan college located in northern New Jersey. Founded in 1942 by the Franciscan Sisters, Felician College currently enrolls 2,200 students in more than 40 undergraduate and graduate programs in the arts and sciences, business and management sciences, health sciences, and teacher education. Felician College's NCAA Division II athletic teams compete in basketball, soccer, baseball, softball, cross country, and women's volleyball. Cheerleading and dance teams root the athletes on and show off their own skills in competitions throughout the year. With a mission to provide a values-oriented education based in the liberal arts, Felician College prepares students for meaningful lives and careers in today's competitive marketplace. Day, evening, and weekend programs are offered to meet the needs of Felician's diverse student body, and students may take course work through semester or accelerated trimester formats. Two summer sessions are also available each year for nonmatriculated students. Felician College is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools and carries program accreditation from the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission, the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences, the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education and the Teacher Education Accrediting Council. On the graduate level, Felician College offers a Master of Business Administration, Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), a Master of Arts in Religious Education, and Masters of Arts in Education and Educational Leadership. Additionally, Felician offers joint programs in the health sciences terminating on the Doctoral or Masters level in Audiology, Podiatric Medicine Chiropractic Studies, Physician Assistant Studies, Physical Therapy, Optometry, and Occupational Therapy collaboration with several universities including the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ).
