/Within the Department of Earth and Environmental Studies in CSAM, there is also a program specifically geared towards minority to allow them to pursue studies and careers in science, math and engineering. “The College of Science and Mathematics will take a leadership role in the Louis Stokes Alliances for Minority Participation (LSAMP) grant, a program funded by the National Science Foundation to increase the quality and quantity of students who successfully complete a degree in the STEM disciplines (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics)”
