The nature trail at LeSuer Nature Preserve offers many opportunities for recreation and scientific study. The new Monmouth College athletic fields are available for team practice, of course, but also open to ad hoc student groups and individuals. The college's educational garden draws student volunteers as well as students who simply seek a quiet, peaceful place to study.
