Bradley International Airport near Hartford is 20 miles from campus. Taxi service is available from the airport to campus; the admissions office will give you the number to call for this service. Peter Pan and Greyhound bus service is available to Middletown from Boston, Hartford, New Haven, New York, Springfield, and other cities. Amtrak service from New York and Boston stops in Meriden, 10 miles west of Middletown.

From the south, take I-91 to Exit 18; from there, follow Rte. 66 into Middletown, turning right onto High St. and right onto Wyllys Ave. From the north, take I-91 to Exit 22S; from there, take Rte. 9 to the Wesleyan exit (Washington St.). Follow Washington St. to the 4th light and turn left onto High St. and right onto Wyllys Ave.

Radisson Hotel (100 Berlin Rd., Cromwell; 203-635-2000), 5 minutes from the campus, has a special rate for college visitors, a health club, and glass-domed indoor pool. The Holiday Inn (4 Sebethe Dr., Cromwell; 203-635-1001) is a little bit farther from campus, but it's much less expensive if you get the college visitor rates. The Ramada Inn (275 Research Pkwy., Meriden; 203-238-2380) also offers a special rate for college visitors. The Hampton Inn (10 Bee St., Meriden; 203-235-5154), 15 minutes from campus, is another good low-priced alternative.
