Just across the street from the university (its northern edge) is the moderately priced Holiday Inn on the Lane (328 W. Lane Ave.; 800-465-4329 or 614-294-4848). A free shuttle service will bring you to a hotel from the airport. The University Plaza Hotel (3110 Olentangy River Rd.; 877-677-5292 or 614-267-7461) is convenient and moderately priced too. An inexpensive motel 1.5 miles away is Cross Country Inn-OSU North (3246 Olentangy River Rd.; 800-621-1429 or 614-267-4646). Because Ohio State is located in Columbus, one of Ohio's major cities, there are a variety of places to stay. They range from the inexpensive Red Roof Inn (441 Ackerman Rd.; 800-843-7663 or 614-267-9941), to the Hyatt Regency of Columbus (350 N. High St.; 800-233-1234 or 614-463-1234) an expensive hotel with the usual amenities.
