FSU is affordable. For state residents, annual tuition and fees run a little more than $6,500. The school estimates that students will spend another $10,000 or so on room and board. Nonresidents pay $21,600 in tuition and fees, a significant increase from the in-state rate, yet still cheaper than many private institutions. One student remarks on “how inexpensive FSU is. FSU offered me a scholarship on top of my bright future’s and prepaid. I actually have enough money left over each semester to pay for my sorority.” To secure the best aid package and scholarships, the school recommends that prospective students apply as early as possible.
