Tuition & Aid
Bottom line

Whitman College is one of the nation’s top liberal arts colleges. The total cost of tuition, room and board, and everything else adds up to around $54,000 per year. Both need-based and merit aid is available to help offset costs. Every spring, Whitman offers a financial-planning night that addresses not only loans but also financial issues for graduating students to be aware of. Whitman offers internships during the summer that allow the students to work in the same area as their degree and hopefully help with employment when they graduate. Whitman also meets 100% of the student’s need with the Garrett/Sherwood scholarships and the President’s scholarships.
