Ohio State offers a number of merit-based scholarship opportunities to qualified students. Honors students may compete for the Presidential and Medalist Scholarships, valued at the full cost of tuition (Presidential) and the full cost of in-state tuition (Medalist). Other awards of note include the Maximus Scholarship, worth $12,000 over four years, and the Provost’s Scholarship, worth $9,600 over four years. The Morrill Scholars Program intended to promote diversity, multiculturalism, and leadership, offers awards with values ranging from full tuition to the full cost of attendance (i.e. books, transportation, room and board, etc). Qualified students from outside of Ohio who are required to pay a non-resident surcharge may earn the National Buckeye Scholarship, worth $34,800 over four years.
