Grading System: Phoenix School of Law has adopted a grade distribution policy. The policy aims to establish a grading norm that assists employers in their hiring decisions, and seeks to avert inconsistent grading standards, establish a faculty-wide grading criterion, and facilitate selecting professors and courses for sound academic reasons. The grade distribution must , at a minimum conform to the following standards: A, A- 10%; B+, B 20%; B-, C+,C 40; C-,D+, D, F 10%. This distribution is mandatory for all first-year courses, and substantial compliance is required in all upper-level classes, that contain 21 or more students. It does not apply to seminars, clinics or pass/fail courses.
