Research Facilities: The Holloran Center for Ethical Leadership in the Professions is an endowment- and grant-supported center that provides research, curriculum development, and programs for students and professionals on "servant leadership" in the professions. Examples of recent and upcoming programs include: Transactions or Relationships: Interactions Between Clients, Partners, Associates & Staff; Our National Challenge: A Blueprint for Restoring the Public Trust; Exxon Revisited: Rights and Remedies; Civil Gideon, pro bono service to low income clients; Exploring Crime & Punishment; War Crimes: Siege of Sarajevo; and What Diversity Can Teach Us About the Changing Relationship Between Companies and Law Firms. The Terrence J. Murphy Institute for Catholic Thought, Law and Public Policy is a collaboration between the Center for Catholic Studies and the School of Law at the University of St. Thomas. The Institute draws from the resources of both programs, as well as other academic disciplines and other faith traditions, to study the intersection between Catholic thought, the law, and public policy. Recent conferences and lectures have covered topics such as "prudential judgment and public policy," "intellectual properity, religious thought, and justice," "natual law and human dignity," "Muslim-Catholic dialogue," and "realism in Christian thought and law."
