  • IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR OUR CUSTOMERS
    JAVA ALERT

An alert has been issued regarding a serious security vulnerability in Java, an Oracle product, and it has been recommended that you disable Java in order to avoid your computer being compromised by loading a Java applet from a malicious site or application.

If you have chosen to disable Java, you will need to enable it in order to access our online content or LiveOnline courses. The use of Java within our applications is safe, but you should avoid the use of Java on non-trusted sites. After using our site, if you had chosen to disable Java, you should disable Java again, until Oracle releases a fix to Java and you have installed it on your computer.

In the case of Mac users only, Apple is blocking Java launched within the Safari browser automatically. To access our content, please use the latest Firefox browser, downloadable at http://www.mozilla.org.

In some versions of Firefox (for both Mac and PC), you may see a red icon on the left side of your address bar. This will allow you to enable java for a selected site. To do so, please click on the icon, select Activate All Plugins and then Always activate plugins for this site. This will activate Java for http://www.princetonreview.com only.

Please follow this work around only with sites that you trust. We will continue to monitor this situation and provide updates to our customers as needed. If you need help enabling or disabling Java, please reference this external site: http://java.com/en/download/help/disable_browser.xml.

An additional note about Mac OS 10.6 (Snow Leopard)
Apple has discontinued development and support for Mac 0S 10.6 (Snow Leopard). Apple is requesting that any Snow Leopard users immediately upgrade their OS through the Apple website to 10.8 (Mountain Lion). We are asking that all students use Mac OS 10.7 or later when launching content from our website.
