College Admissions Tests

The SAT is a standardized test used by most U.S. colleges and universities for admissions and placement decisions. It can also be used to determine scholarship eligibility. more info

The PSAT is not only great practice for the SAT, it's also used as the National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test. more info

The ACT is used by some states as a state assessment exam. Most colleges will accept either the ACT or the SAT, but it is always best to confirm before applying. more info

The SAT Subject Tests, formerly known as the SAT II, are subject-specific tests in Math, Chemistry, Spanish, History, and more. Check with the schools you're applying to and find out if they require SAT Subject Test scores, and if so, if they require any particular tests. more info

Graduate, Post-Graduate, and Professional Tests

The GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) is a computer-adaptive test (CAT) required by most business schools, and can be taken at any time of the year. more info

The GRE (Graduate Record Examinations) is a computer-adaptive test (CAT) required by most graduate schools, and can be taken throughout the year. more info

The LSAT (Law School Admission Test) is required for admission to most law schools, and is offered four times each year. more info

The MCAT (Medical College Admission Test) is required for admission to most medical schools. more info

The USMLE Step 1 is required for international medical students and graduates to practice medicine in the United States. more info
