Guarantee Details (GMAT/GRE/LSAT/MCAT)
The Princeton Review Promise:
- Readiness Guarantee: If at the end of our course, you do not feel ready to take the test for which you are preparing, you may repeat the course you have just completed.
OR
- Satisfaction Guarantee: If at the end of our program, you are not satisfied, regardless of how much your score improves, you can continue to work with us for up to a year for free.
OR
- Money Back Guarantee: If, after taking our program, your score doesn’t improve, you may receive a tuition refund.
Please note that The Princeton Review’s Guarantees apply to our Private Tutoring (in-person and online) and Small Group Tutoring programs, and selected classroom and online courses listed on this website, as specified below. These Guarantees may not apply to other Princeton Review courses not listed on this website (e.g., courses offered through partner institutions). No Guarantee is available for ExpressOnline courses, LSAT Weekender Classroom course or LSAT Single Subject Tutoring programs. The fine print:
We guarantee your satisfaction. The Princeton Review’s three Guarantee offers—Readiness, Satisfaction or Money Back—are described below. Please note: Each eligible student may choose only one of the three Guarantee offers.
Readiness Guarantee. If you are enrolled in one of our classroom courses listed below, our LSAT LiveOnline Course or our MCAT LiveOnline Course, and at the end of the course, you do not feel ready to take the test for which you are preparing, you may repeat the course you have just completed at no charge other than an administrative fee ($200 for GRE and GMAT; $300 for LSAT and MCAT), for one year following the start of your program if you meet the following requirements:
- You attend all of the program sessions, take all assigned practice tests, and complete all of your homework.*
*Please note that LSAT LiveOnline and MCAT LiveOnline students wishing to exercise this Readiness Guarantee will be required to mail in all homework in order to demonstrate that they have completed all of their homework.
Please note that if you exercise this Readiness Guarantee, you will not be eligible for our other Guarantee offers.

Satisfaction Guarantee. Regardless of how much your test score improves, you are eligible to continue working with The Princeton Review at no additional charge (other than an administrative fee in certain instances described below) for one year following the start of your program if you meet the following requirements:
- You attend all of the program sessions, take all assigned practice tests, and complete all of your homework.
- You take the official test for which you prepared within 30 days (45 for MCAT) following the final session of your program or pay an administrative fee ($200 for GMAT and GRE Classroom Course; $100 for GRE Essentials Course; $300 for LSAT and MCAT) if you take the official test more than 30 days (45 days for MCAT) following the final session of your program. (Please note that tutoring students must sit for the actual exam within 30 days (45 for MCAT) following the program to be eligible for the Satisfaction Guarantee.)

Please note that if you exercise this Satisfaction Guarantee, you will not be eligible for our Money Back Guarantee or our Readiness Guarantee.
Money Back Guarantee. Alternatively, if you take our classroom course (other than GRE Essentials or LSAT Accelerated or Weekender Classroom Courses), LSAT LiveOnline, MCAT LiveOnline or a comprehensive private tutoring (in-person or online) or small group tutoring program (see above for definition of comprehensive tutoring program), and your test score does not improve, you are eligible for a full refund if you meet the following requirements:
- You attend all of the program sessions, take all assigned practice tests, and complete all of your homework*.
- You take the official test for which you prepared within 30 days (45 days for MCAT) following the final session of your program.
- You present your official test score report(s) to us and request a full refund within 90 days following the final session of your program.
*Please note that LSAT LiveOnline, MCAT LiveOnline and online private tutoring students requesting a full refund will be required to mail in all homework in order to demonstrate that they have completed all of their homework.
How we measure improvement:
- If you have taken the official test for which you have prepared six months or less before the start of your Princeton Review program: We will compare your prior official test score to your official score on the test you take within 30 days (45 days for MCAT) following the final session of your program.
- If you have not taken the official test for which you have prepared six months or less before the start of your Princeton Review program: We will compare the results of your first practice test in our program to your score on the official test you take within 30 days (45 days for MCAT) following the final session of your program.
Please note that if you exercise this Money Back Guarantee, you will not be eligible for our Satisfaction Guarantee or our Readiness Guarantee.
Please note that refunds take approximately six weeks to be processed.
