Career Experience

My first experience with tutoring was at the writing center at a local community college, then I became a teaching assistant, then I earned a position as the instructor of record in my own classroom. After completing my doctorate, I landed a job at a public university and have been an English professor there for eight years.

I Love Tutoring Because

it is a joy to assist people in finding their voice, telling their stories, and, overall, improving their communication. We all have important knowledge to contribute to the world, and I appreciate being a guide for people who need some support in sharing that knowledge.
