While I was pursuing my undergraduate, I had a brief experience as an English tutor for a credit recovery school for students who needed extra classes to graduate. We worked on essay-building skills, and how to read effectively.

I Love Tutoring Because

I believe that the most important time for a person's development is during their teen years, and I believe that teachers or tutors could be the most influential people in a student's life. Every student, child, or maybe even adult needs a teacher or role model, and I believe I can do that as a tutor.

I did leave a few requests in the teacher's instructions section of the pre-session details, so it would have been nice if those were directly answered, but otherwise, I liked the given rubric, which was easy to follow, and the feedback was pretty good.
