Career Experience

I started my career working as a babysitter and then progressed to being a paraprofessional for 2.5 years specializing with students with autism. I am currently an assistant teacher (4 years) who has worked with students of all ages.

I Love Tutoring Because

when in a class setting, sometimes students aren't given the extra assistance they need to ensure that they fully understand the concepts they're being taught. I love tutoring because it gives me the opportunity to work one-on-one with students to make sure they're learning the concepts, and it also allows me to break down the concepts with them further. Tutoring also allows students to learn in ways that are tailored to their different learning styles. I can adjust my strategies to meet the needs of the student.
