Career Experience
Early in my career, I taught AP English grades 10-11 and developmental studies in alternative education. After that, I taught at two Florida colleges for nearly twenty years. I am a poet and a writer, with three chapbooks of poetry, a poetry textbook and an upcoming chapter in a forthcoming text about teaching online. I'm a grandmother now, and I have plenty of patience and kindness to offer students. But I am also honest with critique and feedback. I will find your strengths as a student and help you develop confidence in English, literature, academic and creative writing, and study skills.
