Career Experience

I have been tutoring high school and college English, reading, writing, and literature on and off for the past six years, as well as violin, voice, and beginner piano. More recently, I have also taught introductory classes in sight singing, music theory and choral singing.

I Love Tutoring Because

tutoring allows me to not only help a student pass a test, but it also gives me the unique opportunity to help them realize the depth and beauty of the English language. My goal is to help students understand that, in the words of Victor Hugo, "The beautiful is as useful as the useful; perhaps more so."
