Career Experience
In my role as a mathematics tutor, I’ve had the opportunity to tutor numerous students across a range of math subjects, including Fundamentals of College Math, College Algebra, Trigonometry, Precalculus I & II, Finite Mathematics, and Calculus I & II. Currently, I primarily tutor high school and first-year college students. In these roles, I focus on enhancing students’ math proficiency, cultivating their motivation toward pursuing post-secondary education, and prepping them for successful SAT/ACT scores.
I Love Tutoring Because
of its positive impact on students’ lives. Contributing to their growth and witnessing them solve problems they once thought were impossible is deeply rewarding. Additionally, by helping students deepen their understanding and boost their confidence in the subject matter, I, too, find myself gaining a deeper understanding. Interacting with students from diverse backgrounds enhances my own perspectives, nurturing openness to new ideas and approaches that I might not have considered before. Tailoring my teaching to accommodate each student's unique learning style keeps me agile and innovative, continually seeking alternative paths to solutions.
