Career Experience
I have experience with mentoring/tutoring freshman students in subjects of math and English. I was paired with one student and had weekly meetings to review the topics he needed extra help in. Before going virtual, we had a weekly meeting with other students and tutors to discuss ways to help our students.
I Love Tutoring Because
I love to help people. I like the feeling of helping someone accomplish a task or goal. I am able to personalize how I choose to teach students. I learn about my students’ understanding of what they like and dislike and their strengths and weaknesses. I have the opportunity to help my students become confident in the subject they struggle with.
