Career Experience
In the past, I've worked several jobs which included being a student worker for the Student Services Center for my community college, a waiter at a private dining restaurant/banquet Hall, and a peer tutor for the tutoring center at my county college. During my time at the tutoring center, I tutored STEM related subjects which included biology and chemistry. I learned how to communicate effectively with my tutees in order to help them understand the subject materials which they were struggling with. I also worked with my supervisors and professors for advice in regards to my tutoring style or how to approach different situations. Furthermore, I have run several different classroom help sessions in order to assist students with chemistry problems.
I Love Tutoring Because
tutoring has been my favorite job so far throughout my career experience not only because I'm able to communicate with students frequently, but also because I am able to help them to achieve their academic goals. I remember struggling throughout community college, and if it wasn't for the tutoring that I received, I wouldn't have been able to succeed. I want to provide the same assistance I received at community college to any student online struggling with their subject.
