I have over 8 years of experience working in a laboratory environment performing research in the field of neurogenetics. To date, I've co-authored two peer-reviewed scientific publications in scientific journals and am now preparing several new manuscripts for submission. I have experience teaching and mentoring students both in the research laboratory and the classroom. I have experience teaching in both laboratory classes and in lecture discussion sections.
I Love Tutoring Because
I've been curious my entire life. I love helping students indulge their inquisitive natures by helping them to develop intellectual skills that take learning from a boring, unengaging requirement set down by the student's teachers and parents, to one where they find themselves motivated internally by discovering how fascinating, complex, and interesting the natural world truly is.
