I am currently the assistant editor for a small poetry press. I am also a freelance writer with poetry and short stories published in a number of national and international literary journals. I have done some work editing kids' work on behalf of a nonprofit dedicated to supporting young writers. I also have home-schooled two kids and a nephew. I have done editing and proofreading for students at a major university for whom English is their second language.

I Love Tutoring Because

I love the English language! I love helping people with their writing because it's so rewarding to see it suddenly click with the student. I love to help students feel confident and successful.
