Career Experience

I have been an ELA teacher for nearly 20 years and a college composition instructor for more than 10! I've worked with students of almost all ages, from 6th/7th/8th graders, high school students, college students, and even adults returning to school to complete their educations. I'm passionate about writing and helping students turn their ideas into words.

I Love Tutoring Because

I love working with students and helping them grow more confident. When a student leaves a session with me feeling accomplished and, most importantly, independent and able to continue on with confidence, I feel like I've done my job.

This tutor was excellent. She was really kind and utilized the whiteboard, unlike any tutor I have had thus far. She went into detail about each paragraph in my essay and helped me word the essay more properly, while keeping the overall same structure. If I had to rate this tutor out of ten, I would give her a 100! Just excellent!
