Even when the physics is developed in math language, physics is not math. If you understand what is really happening in a specific situation, math will be the least of your problems. It's important to know first what are you going to get through the knowledge of physics phenomena, so you can lead math to the desired and correct result, which is only a number or an expression. Physics is the explanation of why you obtained that result, not the result itself.
