Career Experience
As a student, I worked in the writing center. I was paid to tutor students with their papers. This was a work-study position, but I was requested to work there. I also would privately tutor students at the request of different professors as a volunteer. I have currently been tutoring since the fall of last year in English, literature, writing, and SAT prep.
I Love Tutoring Because
tutoring students and adult professionals is a way to give back. I love seeing my students gain confidence in their abilities to complete their assignments and improve where needed. I love celebrating even the small victories with them. I find joy in sharing my knowledge with others and watching them grow. Besides the satisfaction I feel, tutoring is truly about making a difference in the lives of others.
