Career Experience
After completing my graduate degree, I taught high school full time across a diverse range of math subjects and student populations. I currently tutor individual students as well, covering subjects across middle and high school math, science, and computer science in addition to competition math skills. While I was an undergraduate student, I provided on-demand tutoring for college-level math subjects and co-taught a full-stack web development course. I also had the opportunity to teach abroad in South Korea, during which I co-led an engineering workshop and supported high school students in their mathematics coursework. I currently possess California single-subject teaching credentials/authorizations for math, physics, computer science, and English Learner (EL) instruction.
I Love Tutoring Because
there are few moments in life more impactful than arriving at a sudden flash of understanding or forging a deep connection after struggling with a new concept. I cherish the experience of guiding students along that journey, helping them understand that learning is rewarding precisely because it is challenging, and fostering a belief that anyone can succeed academically at the highest levels with the right support!
