I studied civil engineering before finishing my B.A. in elementary education. I have recent experience in the K-6 public school classroom. I genuinely enjoy working through and solving math problems and can't wait to work with students.

I Love Tutoring Because

I love the breakthroughs. I thrive under the challenge of explaining the same content in different ways and finding what works for each individual. I started tutoring to help keep my own skills sharp, and I enjoy re-learning with students and showing how simple mathematics can be. I struggled with math and did not know anything beyond the basics until my 20's, so I know how hard it is to overcome the feeling math can give you.
