I have been a college English instructor, a newspaper reporter and columnist, a radio and internet journalist, and a short story writer. In short, I've spent my career working with words, finding the myriad of ways they can be used most powerfully and effectively.
I Love Tutoring Because
...I love to open the world of language up to students, to help you see that you have the ability to use it well. I enjoy demystifying the rules, breaking down concepts, and opening up minds. Most of all, I enjoy my students' "aha" moments, when I see that they see what they need to do and can do.
