Career Experience
I have worked with students and customers since the year of 2018. My first job that involved teaching students was an SLS peer mentor at the university for a summer. I was the point of contact and information for incoming freshman. Then I worked as a leasing agent for sometime and in retail. I learned people have different communication styles. This helped with the adaptibility needed to work at the writing center. I have been working in the university writing center since August 2021. I spend time helping various students from different disciplines with different genres of writing.
I Love Tutoring Because
I always learn something new from the students I tutor. Also, I enjoy helping people connect to things that they can always use and general knowledge overall.
