Career Experience
My educational career began in 2003 when I taught in a Spanish-English bilingual classroom. After 6 years of teaching in the public school system, I decided to pause my official career in order to raise and educate my own children. I currently home-educate my elementary and middle school-aged children in all subjects as well as tutoring online and in-person reading, writing, and TESOL.
I Love Tutoring Because
each person is an individual and brings unique strengths to the table. As I work with students, it is a pleasure to focus on their strengths and encourage them, while also looking for growth opportunities in their academic journey. Tutoring is not focused on my teaching, but my guiding each student to reach his or her full potential. It is a gift to walk alongside each student as he or she grows!
