Career Experience
I am currently a toxicologist working for a science-based non-profit. I was a full-time tutor on my undergraduate campus where I also earned two bachelor degrees. I am a certified teacher in Germany, where I taught for six months as an internship, and in Texas, where I taught English and history in middle schools. I want to one day be a professor, so I can continue enriching the lives of students and encourage multiculturalism.
I Love Tutoring Because
I love seeing the 'Ah-Ha!' moment when a student really understands the material and is able to take that understanding and apply it elsewhere. It is a rewarding collaboratory experience for me as an instructor and also for the student, to strengthen each other's understanding of the material.
