Career Experience

I first started tutoring when I was in high school. At the request of my teachers, I helped grade 9 and 10 students with math. Also, I periodically tutored friends and family outside of school hours. I continued to work on my teaching practice throughout my university's 5 year concurrent teacher education program through volunteer placements. Further, in my third year, I worked as a facilitated study group leader for introductory statistics courses. Lastly, in my fourth and fifth years, I was a teaching assistant in statistics. After university, I spent a year working at a tutoring center. Since then, I've been focusing my efforts on private tutoring and tutor.com!

I Love Tutoring Because

helping students with their academics is the first step in working towards their long-term goals. To me, seeing their improvements and learning moments is rewarding.
