Career Experience

I have been teaching and tutoring mathematics for nearly 30 years. Courses I have taught included just about everything from intermediate algebra to differential equations. I've also tutored linear algebra.

I Love Tutoring Because

there's no more effective way to help a struggling student than one-on-one instruction. One of the best things about tutoring is that "light bulb" moment when a student has realized the he or she understands the concept with which they have been having difficulty.

This tutor did a great job explaining how to do acceleration type word problems. He explained to me why I needed to do what I did to get what the problem was asking. I would definitely go back to this tutor if I needed more help!
