I've spent most of college peer reviewing papers for my classmates, taking charge of essay workshops for the majority of my college career.
I Love Tutoring Because
I understand struggling in certain areas because I have a different learning style than others. Teaching and learning is not a one-size-fits-all sort of deal. I take into account what helps or doesn't help a student and create my own "unorthodox" way of helping them understand the material. My favorite part is the "a-ha" moment when a student finally begins to understand what was originally quite confusing and then receives an "A" back!
