Career Experience

In high school, I tutored a fellow student who had a learning disability. I helped him complete his math homework and prepare for his test for about half a year. In college, I taught a middle school student introductory programming for a semester. Outside of tutoring, I worked in an IT Center for a university for 3 years. I provided tech support in person and over the phone. I was an IT intern at a private company for a summer as well, doing technical support for office workers.

I Love Tutoring Because

I have always liked working with people since I was little, and I have found that I work best when it is a one-on-one situation. When I tutor someone, it is very rewarding to see someone go from overwhelmed and confused into calm and confident. During tutoring sessions, I find that not only am I helping out the student, I am also learning about the subject material myself. It is for these reasons that I find tutoring to be a meaningful and enriching experience

I still have the same problem I started with. My code is only clearing 3 out of 5 tests. The tutor was helpful but when I needed to enter the code and correct some indentions, they didn't wait to see if the issues was resolved. They said if it didn't work to just open another tutor request.

She just partially help me. She said the session has ended already so I asked how many minutes is the limit. She said 60 minutes but when I ended it I still have two minutes left. She could have help me more because we haven't finished yet creating the program I need help with. Two minutes is a lot to get more information.
