Career Experience
I have helped hundreds of students boost their homework and test scores! These results come from hundreds of hours of experience breaking down intricate concepts into simple, easy-to-understand steps. In my lessons, I use targeted prompting questions to guide students toward independently understanding the steps needed to solve problems. I excel at quickly identifying areas of weakness, such as time management, science, math skills, statistics, etc., and transforming them into strengths through tailored guided practice exercises. I previously worked as a professional high school and college tutor while attending my university before transitioning to the platform. My teaching journey has been equally diverse and rewarding for the past 6 years. I’ve guided students one-on-one through the challenges of Calculus, Pre-Calculus, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Trigonometry, Statistics, R Studio, Chemistry, Ecology, Biology, and Environmental Statistics, tailoring my approach to individual needs. Additionally, I’ve led interactive sessions for classes of 15 to 30 students, encompassing both undergraduate and graduate levels. These groups, ages 14 and older, brought a variety of perspectives that deepened my ability to engage, inspire, and adapt. When I have free time, you’ll usually find me doing what I love most—tutoring! My lessons are fun, interactive, and designed to make learning an enjoyable experience. From the very first session, your student will experience the thrill of success and gain the confidence to tackle challenges head-on.
I Love Tutoring Because
I love tutoring because it gives me the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on someone’s learning journey. Watching a student grasp a concept they once found challenging is incredibly rewarding, as it not only boosts their confidence but also opens the door to new opportunities and understanding. Tutoring allows me to tailor my approach to each individual’s needs, fostering an environment of patience, encouragement, and growth. It’s not just about teaching content; it’s about inspiring curiosity, resilience, and a love for learning that lasts far beyond our sessions together.
