Career Experience
In my undergrad, I completed 24 credits of graduate-level mathematics courses which equips me to teach every math topic—from pre-algebra through 5xx-level college math courses—with confidence. To gain a strong foundation in teaching, I tutored 17.5 hours per week in courses such as precalculus, college algebra, calculus I, and statistics; one year of tutoring in high school included free AP Calculus BC and AP Statistics tutoring. These roles honed my ability to diagnose misconceptions quickly and scaffold instruction for diverse learners. My undergrad provided me with proficiency in online whiteboards with a stylus which helps me deliver dynamic virtual sessions seamlessly
I Love Tutoring Because
it allows me to pass on the gifts I have received from my great math teachers and professors. Math barriers need to be minimized and tutoring plays a role in reducing barriers to mathematics.
