Career Experience

I have worked in a variety of mostly non-public schools primarily with students diagnosed with learning disabilities such as dyslexia from grades 1 through 12. Along the way, I have taught middle and high school social studies, middle school language arts and been a writing coach for undergraduates.

I Love Tutoring Because

the one-on-one contact allows for more personal, direct, relevant and efficient connection between the student, the subject and me as the tutor. As such, I revel in the opportunity to show students better, faster and more effective ways to study, organize, prepare and write, and all while inspiring students to be their own best researchers, problem-solver, advocates and critical thinkers.

On my first time connecting with a tutor, she was very helpful but lost connection before we ended the chat. My second time went the same way. On m third attempt, the instructor was not able to share his screen with me and had to end the chat. I have spent about 45 minutes attempting to connect and still dont have anything to show my instructor.
