it seems i was giving feedback very timely to this tutor so he could have solved the problem when we had 7 minutes remaining, but he chose to end session early. he would not explain his reasons. i think only someone educated in Java can see our conversations and know if we were close to solving the problem and it could have been done if tutor did not want to end session. my not knowing if his reasons were valid leads me only to speculate he wanted to earn for another session and i think that is a very obvious suspicion to anyone, so the weight to explain should be on him why he can't solve it in one session, which he didn't do.
